As you may know Ive been busy. And well, my sculpture is due tomorrow.. I figured I would be up all night, but at the last minute I changed my idea. I am just doing an assemblage type sculpture with all the music junk I have. I like it.
And ya, I worked all day long.
OH YA! I got to kick some emo kids outa the store today! LOL I was workin at the big and tall store, and the lights went out. And I had a couple of customers who where still inside. Well outside, a gaggle of emo kids were dropped off outside. Like 5 busses of high school kids were lined up infront of my store. And my section got the emo kids who decided to practive their hardcore dancing. Ya. My customers were trying to leave but were litterally scared of getting hit cuz these kids were thrashing around. So I slung open the door and hit one (giggle!) and told them all to get the hell outa the front of my store! Then they tried to come INSIDE the store.. so i kicked them out and locked the door. It was amazing!
so like.. ive been so incredibly busy.. like.. zomg.
First off.. NEW JOB! YAY its amazing. I dont ever want to leave. (ya I know that wont last, butttt i love it now!)
So far Ive done some .. slicing.. and um a pretty kick ass add for NEA Business Times. I dont have a copy yet, but I will post a preview when I get back to work.

Oh man, I just want to sleep. My stupid sculpture project is due thursday.. and well… I havnt even started yet. -sigh- Im working about 53 hours this week, school 18 hours… and ill probably be up all night working on my sculpture project. I just want to sleep.. my brain hurts.
Im about to go to bed. Im ready for this week to be over with. It will be smooth sailing from then on!

First off, giant halloween party! Amazing. Joey got fn trashed and SANG non-stop for like four hours! And not just regular tunes… RAP, and not just regular rap.. ghetto gangsta rap.. wtf.. lol!

I was going to be steampunk neko kitty, but ive been too busy to make it work, so i was just regular neko kitty, as seen here.
My eyes in the pics were painted on.. it was fun as hell! The one band i got to see cuz i had to work was awesome! The people were all drunks, it was great.
Secondly.. I GOT A NEW JOB! A NEW AMAZING JOB! I work for yourwebpress.com now! The nerds there are great and i love it already! I almost got fired before I got hired though.. stupid ATT phone crappin out on me! Oh well, Im there now and they are never going to get me away! This is my first attempt at using yourwebpress. I dont think I did TOO bad. I did teach Steven a thing or two about slicing! rofl.
Third, and most importantly… WE HAVE A NEW PRESIDENT! and not one that says nucular or any variation! GO OBAMA!~ What a close race though! Stupid Arkansas going the wrong way though.. lol

So, Im working on my neko kitty outfit! Im going to be so adorable! lol. I wanted to make some kitty ears because I cant find any ANYWHERE! I got a great lions tail at Golden Grotto, but they had no ears AT ALL. I got some little clip ears at Hot Topic, but they were tiny and looked weird with my ears. So I got some cloth piping stuff and felt and some boa stuff. They looked better than alot of sites I went to. (ie pawstar)
Saturday night PARTY! Im excited! Rons super exclusive Halloween Partee! Its going to be epic! Last party for a while.. BOO! but it will be an amazing time! And all those bands! SWEET!
Today I cleaned ALL day long! I also marinated and cooked some derishus lemon pepper chicken with garlic over rice and green beans. Mmmmmmmmmmmm! nom nom nom nom! It was good. OH and I also got Zoe Zoe groomed at Ms Ellies! She looks so good!
And I bought some new furniture! See, the guy next door is moving… or ’something’ and needed to sell his furniture fast. He was going to give me a couch, love seat, bed, and table for $150. WOW right? Well I got a $150, but didnt get to him in time and didnt think he would have it, oops. Well today he knocked on the door and I told him I had $110. So he gave me a couch, love seat and queen sized bed for $110. So we had to rearange all my furniture and now my house is totally trashed again! But I have a big comfy green couch!
Im having so much trouble trying to think of something for my sound project. It has to be perfect.. im too much of a perfectionist…..
So, not much happening this week. Ive been sick and off work, so alot of sitting on the couch playing video games.
Thursday was the refresh meeting! Not too many people were there but it was fun, I found out about ColourLovers. lol. I havnt played with it much, but I cant wait.
Last night, Me and my wonderful boyfriend Joey went with my friend Lou and her husband Roo to eat at O’Charleys. It was delicious! I had Bayou Salmon. Me and Lou got drinks, I had an amazing margarita and she got a cotton candy martini. It was neat, they put cotton candy in a glass and pour the drink ontop to melt the cotton candy.
We went and saw Quarentine, the new Zombie movie out. It was good. I thought I would be scared (because I usually get scared at movies) but I wasnt. I think it must just be ghost movies.. Those are scary as HELL! Like this one!! The previews of that alone scared me to death. Im a chicken. I think its the dog with the mask.
Afterwards we came back to my place and drank and watched youtube. But it was late anyway so everyone was tired. Overall it was a great night. ^^ I cant wait til tonight!

Last night we went to Memphis with Joey and his boss, Ben, to see Avenue Q at the Orpheum. We got there way to early and ate at The Kings Palace on Beale, which was derishus! I had Voodoo Chicken. Mmm. Also Ben bought 2 bottles of wine for us, Yum. I also had an Amaretto Sour and a Baileys and coffee after dinner. Also Yum. Our bill was about 70 with tip, and that didnt have the alcohol on it. Wow, thanks a billion Ben.
Avenue Q was AMAZING. I laughed SO hard. I loved it! There were PUPPETS FUCKING…. wtf. Still, hilarious! Im so glad we went, Joey is amazing. He looked so good dressed up. It was VERY FUN hanging out with ‘grown ups.’ lol.
Oh oh oh oh! I am getting a new car soon. My truck is literally falling apart, so Im getting a new Honda Fit. PURPLE! I am so excited. Ive never had a NEW car. This is the one I want.
Also, today we saw this adorable little kid dancing in our Neighbors door. He was only like 3 years old. I was laughing so hard! This is epic.
And I had class, but I went early to work on my the stuff I made last week, but they were wet so I just road home. I love riding my bike, I got a new seat so it doesnt feel like a pole is jabbing into my ass. Im going to paint it soon. (and it needs stickers… lots and lots of stickers.. and maybe glitter.. and streamers!)
Oh ya, and the debates were tonight… I thought it was hilarious. You could tell Palin was just reading the ‘mental note cards’. If I heard Alaska one more time… i think i would’ve died. You can read the commentary on my lifestream.
In other news, I realllllllllllly want to see Blindness. But I also want to read the book first… gah! But I need to get money to get it… Im so broke. Cycling to save gas, eating fruit for lunch. (except tonight we splurged on enough chinese for a couple of days! LOL, a FEAST before the debates) I hate I keep missing the fun lunches with the Refresh people, but I really cant afford it. (really big light bill this month)
I was SO tired from all the work I did yesterday I slept til like 10am! Then Joey’s boss Ben wanted to eat early, so I scrambled to get ready and meet them at the Deli. A few friends from refresh showed up and it was nice to see them somewhere other than El. rofl.
I had to work at 2pm, which was okay. Im kinda having a food crisis, if you will, with another girl. Its really dumb, and Im still not sure if it is a big deal or not. See, a couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend Joey ate a couple of her little debbie snacks.. which, there usually are a lot of snacks there and its usually not a big deal, except she mentioned it to me and asked me not to eat her stuff. I totally understood and didnt think it was a big deal, I even bought her a soda to make up for the 2 cakes. I told Joey and he felt bad as well so to make up for it he went to the dollar store and bought like 5 boxes (literally) of Little Debbies, put a bow on it and gave it to her. Since then, I dont recall eating anything (except a few of the 100000 Little Debbie snacks Joey bought) of hers. Well, this weekend I had to work 10 hours without a lunch and I was starving. So I found in our secret stash some chips, and candy corn. I ate a few hand fulls and when I went to put the chips back there was a note that said “Mandy, Please dont eat what you did not bring.” Now, I dont usually get mad about little things, but hell, I had JUST brought (basically) 8 boxes of little debbies of which I ate maybe 4 oatmeal cookies? I dont really care, but it kinda made me upset she put that note there. I guess I just like to share.. but thats just me. So to make up for the handful of candy corn and 5 fucking potato chips I bought a bag of chips, bag of mini candy bars, and a bag of kisses.. and probably something else… I just dont understand people sometimes. My boss said it was because she had a roommate that ate all her food.. but I figured the 8 boxes of snacks would have more than make up for it… no need for little notes.. okay ending rant..
in other news.. I made a cool poster.
Its based on a line from Chuck Palahniuk book “Lullaby” which I just finished re-reading. Its sooo good, lots of good lines. I have 2 more posters in this series. This line is about how the introduction of dandelions and other non-native things to the americas was a way to save us from famine, or erosion, or some other thing deemed necessary to save us, is now just killing off things that were important, things we can never get back, things we destroyed.
